Clivet's recent announcement of the Edge F is quite impressive. This air-cooled residential packaged heat pump, utilizing R290 refrigerant, seems to be a versatile solution for various heating, cooling, and domestic hot water production needs, especially in renovation projects.

The Edge F, available in seven different sizes ranging from 4 to 15kW, offers a range of features, including an integrated pump and expansion tank, catering to different requirements. Its capability to maintain reliable heating operation even at extremely low temperatures of -25°C ambient, and the capacity to produce 75°C supply water down to -10°C outside air, is commendable.

The performance guarantees are noteworthy, with the Edge F boasting class A++ at a medium temperature of 55°C water supply and class A+++ in heating at a low temperature of 35°C water supply. Additionally, its effectiveness in cooling, with SEER values reaching up to 5.86, adds to its appeal.

Furthermore, the possibility of combining up to 6 units in a cascade arrangement enhances its scalability and adaptability to various settings or larger-scale applications.

This launch seems promising, offering energy-efficient and reliable heating, cooling, and hot water solutions for residential purposes, especially in challenging conditions or renovation scenarios.
